Pet Friendly Caravan Parks in Northern New South Wales
In Iluka, the Anchorage Caravan Park allows pets to stay upon prior arrangement. The park provides two pet friendly cabins for travellers with pets, however no pets are permitted in camping areas during peak seasons. Located on the Clarence River, the Anchorage provides a heated swimming pool, spa, camp kitchen and free gas barbecues, with kids activities and movie night held during school holidays.
The Big 4 North Star Holiday Resort at Hastings Point is the ideal holiday location for families and their pets. Complete with an enormous indoor play centre, kids club, lap pool, sauna, gym and a leisure and day spa, the North Star has it all.
They even provide a Pampered Pooch Package where Rover can receive 5 star treatment including a hydro bath and massage. The dog suites are not situated on site, however families can have their dog picked up and dropped off daily, where they will stay at the nearby Tweed Valley Pet Resort. Rover's suite is tiled, with ceiling fans and pipe music playing 24 hours a day.

The Gundagai Tourist Park also allows dogs to stay with their families at manager's discretion, though no dogs are permitted inside cabins or on-site caravans. Situated on the banks of the Murrumbidgee River, the Gundagai Tourist Park provides guests with a free undercover barbecue and a children's playgound. The local swimming pool is a short stroll next door.
